Description

The Ultimate fine diamond stone – made from reference lab grade, absurdly expensive diamond powder. Utmost care has been taken to avoid agglomeration and contamination.

This product should only be used “edge trailing”. I do not think that this product improves on the surface finish compared to the fine grit set, but gives me a noticeable increase in sharpness. Very light pressure and a limited amount of strokes should be applied with this set.

The polymer strop comes “unlabeled”, with a large white bracket where you can write the used emulsion type on it.

This article consists of a set of 2 & 1 sharpening stones / polymer strops. Content:
1x Stone 0.1 µm (Diamond)
1x Stone < 0.05 µm (Diamond)
1x Stone 0 µm (Polymer strop – no abrasive but also no particles in it!)
Size of the Aluminium Blank: 160 x 25 mm x 4 mm
Size of the Abrasive Layer: 150×25 + At least 2 mm thickness
Comes in a 3D printed storage case.

As this is a handmade product, some small blemishes such as tiny bubbles, scratches or imperfections are to be expected. And they are actual proof of my hands! I can promise that they do not subtract from the performance of the sharpening stones!
